D`you know bagaimana mengungkapkan dan merespon pujian atau compliment dalam Bahasa Inggris?.

Well, Perharps ada yang sulit memuji orang lain karena mungkin terlalu bersikap pesimis terhadap dunia sekitarnya bahkan melihat keindahan yang ada pada dirinya sendiri saja pun sulit. Unfortuately,hal itu juga diterapkan untuk melihat orang lain.

Pujian yang tepat akan  memberikan efek yang positif yakni memotivasi dan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri untuk menjadi individu yang lebih baik.Baik bagi orang lain maupun diri sendiri. Isn`t it good to do?

 

Tujuan Memberi Pujian

To show that you like some aspect of other person`s appearance, belongings, or work.

Some people use compliments to “butter up” somebody, or to flatter in order to increase goodwill.

Therefore, overuse of compliments might seem insincere.

So,orang biasanya memuji karena penampilanmu,pekerjaan baikmu,bajumu yang wah!, keluargamu yang harmonis, prestasimu / talentamu yang membuat orang lain berdecak kagum atau mungkin potongan rambutmu yang trendy, tingkah lakumu yang terpuji, dsb.

 

Bagaimana Cara Memberi Compliments?

Dalam bahasa Inggris, kamu bisa memberi pujian:

-      By saying something nice about the object

-      By asking how the person made it or where it was bought (but not how much it cost)

-      By asking for another look or another serving, if it is food
